Ealing Electricians LTD - With the introduction of The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) 2020 Regulations which came into to force 1st June 2020 , landlords are required by law to maintain the standard of the electrical installation within their rented properties and have valid Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) or Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) and / or Minor Works Certificates. 

These new Regulations require landlords to have the electrical installations in their properties inspected and tested at least every five years by a person who is qualified and competent. Landlords have to provide a copy of the electrical safety report and corresponding certificates to their tenants, and to the local authority if requested.
